May 02, 2012Detroit Lions football star Ndamukong Suh, City
Commissioner Nick Fish, Nike, Portland Public Schools, and the Friends
of Grant Athletics gathered Thursday, May 2, at Grant High School to
celebrate the announcement of a new turf athletic field and a new
synthetic track at the school. Suh, a 2005 GHS graduate was on hand
because his Ndamukong Suh Family Foundation donation of $250,000 to the
long-time project was the final piece needed to help get construction
underway. FGA thanks the many members of the Grant community who
contributed to this project.
